Can I re-open check‑in at the airport if I am running late?
Reopening check-in is possible, but not guaranteed — it depends on the specific flight and airport. If you are late, follow the steps below.
When online check-in opens and closes
Online check-in opens 24 hours before departure and closes 3 hours before departure.
Do I need to go to the airport in advance if I have no baggage and have already checked in
No, if you are travelling only with hand luggage. You can check in online in advance, print your boarding pass or take a screenshot of the QR code, and go straight to boarding.
If you have checked baggage, you must drop it off at the check-in desk before it closes — no later than 40 minutes before departure.
What to do if check-in does not reopen and you are running out of time
In this case, you need to cancel your seats so that your ticket remains available for exchange or refund according to your fare rules. You can do this at the airport ticket office, via any written communication channel, or by calling the call centre.
Important: seats must be cancelled before flight departure; otherwise, your ticket may be lost (depending on fare rules).
How being late for the first flight affects subsequent flights
If your booking includes another flight (for example, a return flight) with a gap of at least 24 hours between the flights, you must cancel your seats no later than 2 hours after the departure of the first flight. Otherwise, the return flight may be automatically cancelled.
