How to transport tennis rackets or golf clubs?

🎾 Carriage conditions

Tennis and golf equipment is carried as checked baggage. Whether it can be carried free of charge depends on your fare:

If your fare includes baggage — the equipment may be carried free of charge, provided its weight and dimensions comply with your fare's baggage allowance (more about baggage allowances).
If your fare does not include baggage — you will need to book the "Sports equipment" service.
If the equipment exceeds the allowance (by weight or size) — a paid service is also required.

💰 Cost and booking of paid carriage

The service costs from 2,500 ₽ per set. You can book it:

via the call centre;
at the airline's sales offices or agencies;
directly at the departure airport (additional fees may apply).

How to pack the equipment

Tennis equipment:

Rackets are best carried in a special cover to protect the strings from damage.
Balls can be placed in a separate pocket of the cover or in a bag.
One set usually takes 1 piece of baggage.

Golf equipment:

Clubs should be carried in a hard case or a special golf bag.
For protection, it is recommended to remove the club heads and pack them separately.
One set usually takes 1 piece of baggage, but clubs may exceed standard dimensions (check when booking).
