Conditions for carriage in checked baggage

• Weight — no more than 23 kg.
• Dimensions — no more than 203 cm in total of three dimensions.
• Carriage of the urn is not included in the free baggage allowance and is charged as an additional piece of baggage, regardless of the amount of other baggage.

What documents are required

At check-in, please present the originals or notarised copies of:

• death certificate;
• cremation certificate or statement;
• a document confirming that the sealed urn is airtight and contains no foreign objects (a non-inclusion act).

How to pack

The urn must be in secure packaging that ensures safe transport. A special urn transport container, bag or suitcase is suitable.

The container with the urn must be sealed.

How to arrange carriage

Carriage in checked baggage can be arranged:

• via the call centre;
• at the airport (fees apply);
• at the airline's sales offices;
• at agencies in your city (fees apply).
