How to carry small household appliances on an airplane: hair dryer, iron, curling iron?
You may carry any electrical appliances you may need during your trip in checked baggage. For example, this could be an iron, a blender, a mixer, a hairdryer or a curling iron.
However, there are restrictions on carrying certain appliances in hand luggage, as they may contain piercing or cutting elements. Such electrical appliances are prohibited in hand luggage.
If an electrical appliance does not contain piercing or cutting elements, it can be carried in hand luggage. The main thing is that your hand luggage complies with the dimensions 40x30x20 cm and a weight of 10 kg. Otherwise, an additional fee will be charged for exceeding the limit.
