What are the hand luggage allowances for Smartavia?
The same hand luggage rules apply to all our fares: 1 piece no larger than 40x30x20 cm and weighing up to 10 kg per passenger, except for infants without a seat (free ticket).
What counts as a separate piece of hand luggage
Additional bags and items are considered a separate piece and must be paid for unless they are included in the list of items that may be carried free of charge: for example, a handbag, a child's toy, medicines. Please read the full list of such items.
How is hand luggage checked?
At the airport, next to the check-in desks and at the boarding gate, there are calibrators — measuring compartments.
If your hand luggage fits and the lid closes — everything is fine, you may proceed. If it does not fit or the lid does not close — the item does not meet the standard.
Check the dimensions in advance against the rules and recommendations — this way your flight will be comfortable and free of unforeseen situations.
