How to transport a garment bag?
Passengers may carry a garment bag free of charge in addition to their hand luggage in the aircraft cabin.
Travel tip
A garment bag is a functional cover made of soft but durable fabric or other flexible materials that can easily be folded in half and protect your set of clothes (suit, dress, jacket, etc.) from dirt and creasing during carriage. Note that other types of garment bags may also be carried free of charge, but it is recommended to check them in as baggage.
If a garment bag is found to contain items other than one set of clothes, it will be treated as a separate piece of hand luggage or baggage and will be accepted for carriage with all the corresponding requirements and restrictions.
