Can I take a cradle (baby seat, booster) for my baby on board?

A carrycot can be taken free of charge when traveling with a child under 2 years of age, regardless of your fare.

If your baby will be in a bassinet for the entire flight and there is a separate seat for him/her, observe the following rules:

  • before the flight, make sure that the cradle is certified to fly on an aircraft. The certification information should be listed in the cradle documentation or on a special sticker on the cradle itself;
  • make sure that the size of the cradle does not exceed the size of the chair, i.e. 43*36*70 cm.

Please note that if one adult is traveling with two infants under 2 years of age, one infant must be seated in a bassinet on a separate seat.

If your child will be in a seat with an adult passenger, the following rules should be followed:

  • the size of the cradle is limited by the safety of placing them in the cabin on the luggage shelf or under the front seat. Usually under the seat and on the shelf fit things with dimensions 40*30*20 cm;
  • if the cradle exceeds the permitted dimensions for transport in the cabin, it must be checked in the luggage compartment at no extra charge.
