I have a transfer to another flight. What should I do?
In brief: if your first flight is delayed or cancelled and you have a connecting flight ahead, your next steps depend on which airline operates your next flight and how your tickets are issued.
📌 Step 1. Contact a representative at the airport
As soon as you learn about the delay or cancellation of your first flight, approach a Smartavia representative or go to the airport information desk – they will direct you to the right person. The earlier you report the issue, the sooner you will get help.
🔄 Option 1. The next flight is with our airline
If the next flight is operated by Smartavia, we will do our best to get you to your destination. We pay special attention to our transfer passengers and have likely already found alternative flight options for you.
What to do: Contact a representative – they will help you choose a new flight.
📄 Option 2. The next flight is with another airline
If the next flight is operated by another carrier, there are two possible scenarios:
- A single ticket for both flights – contact a Smartavia representative. We will get in touch with the partner airline and help find a solution.
- Two separate tickets (one for our flight, another for the other airline's flight) – you need to contact the representative office of the airline operating the next flight. They will offer you alternative travel options (you may need to purchase a new ticket).
