Rules for processing transit baggage
When departing from points in the Russian Federation to destinations in near and far abroad, you can check in for a flight with our airline and process your baggage all the way to your final destination, provided that:
- You register at the departure airport as a transfer passenger and check your transfer baggage to the destination, and there are no items in your baggage that require written customs declaration in accordance with the customs legislation of the Customs Union. - the conditions and restrictions used to classify items requiring written declaration are established by Article 260 of the EAEU Customs Code and the Decision of the EEC Council dated December 20, 2017, No. 107 «On Certain Issues Related to Personal Use Goods», and the decision of the Customs Union Commission dated June 18, 2010, No. 311 "On the Procedure for Customs Operations Regarding Personal Use Goods Transported Across the Customs Border of the Eurasian Economic Union, or Personal Use Goods Temporarily Imported into the Customs Territory of the Union, Release of Such Goods, and Reflecting the Fact That They Are Not Under Customs Control";
- compliance with these requirements does not exempt the transfer passenger from adhering to other requirements of the customs legislation of the Customs Union and the legislation of the Russian Federation on customs affairs, and accordingly from liability for non-compliance with customs legislation.
