Transportation rules
Pregnant women are allowed to fly until the end of the 35th week of pregnancy. Pregnant women after the 36th week may be denied transportation on Smartavia flights.
Pregnant women traveling from the 28th week must provide a medical certificate along with a guarantee obligation
Who is not recommended for air transportation
Air transportation is not recommended for women within 7 days after giving birth.
Air transportation is also not recommended for:
- Healthy newborns within 14 days after birth;
- Children born prematurely who have a medical certificate in the MEDA category, which falls under the rules for sick passengers/individuals with limited physical abilities
