Rules for transporting liquids, gels and aerosols

In carry-on luggage
Allowed:
In containers with a capacity of no more than 100 ml;
containers must be packed in a transparent plastic bag with a volume of up to 1 liter per person.
Now allowed:
Liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 100 ml cannot be brought on board, even if they are partially filled. There are exceptions.
Only in checked luggage
liquids and alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of no more than 24% in retail packaging;
strong alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of 24-70% in containers with a capacity of no more than 5 liters per passenger and in retail packaging.
Exceptions for carrying liquids in hand luggage:
  • Medications, special dietary products, baby food, including breast milk, in quantities necessary for the duration of the flight;
  • Medications containing narcotic substances, psychotropic substances, and their precursors, if documents confirming the prescription of such medications to the passenger are provided, indicating their names and quantities, in quantities necessary for the duration of the flight, in accordance with international treaties of the Russian Federation, including acts constituting the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and/or legislation of the Russian Federation;
  • Biological materials, if documents required by international treaties of the Russian Federation are provided, including acts constituting the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and/or legislation of the Russian Federation that establishes the procedure for transporting biological materials. Biological materials are accepted for transportation only after prior agreement with the airline.
Duty-free goods

Must be packed in a sealed (tamper-proof) plastic bag.

Dimensions — no more than 40x30x20 cm, weight — up to 2 kg.

There must be proof that the goods were purchased in airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft on the day of travel.
