We took home six awards and the Grand Prix at Silver Mercury Regions

While some airlines compete in the number of flights, we at Smartavia decided to prove that flying can be not only comfortable but also vibrant, heartfelt, and beneficial to society. And we did it!

The evening of March 31 was intense: St. Petersburg hosted the regional awards ceremony of the Silver Mercury Regions — one of the main industry events in marketing, advertising, and communications. We came for a win and left with a full load: 6 awards out of 6 nominated categories — gold, silver, and bronze, as well as the Grand Prix.

Why was the jury (experts from across the country) thrilled? Here’s the story, step by step.

Project #1: “Smartavia WOW: How We Turned the In-Flight System into a Brand Media”

Have you ever thought that in-flight entertainment could be more than just movies — that it could be a real marketing universe? We managed to turn a standard onboard system into a smart brand media. Experts recognized this immediately in two categories:

  • Best social campaign and project in ESG, CSR, and sustainable development;
  • Best digital project.

GRAND PRIX: The “Embrace” Project with the “Anton Tut Ryadom” Foundation

This is our pride and the absolute triumph of the evening. The collaboration between Smartavia and the “Anton Tut Ryadom” charitable foundation received the highest award of the competition — the Grand Prix.

The project, aimed at supporting people with autism and developing an inclusive culture, won in the following categories:

  • Best design craft / outdoor / print / ambient advertising;
  • Best creative project.

This is not just “advertising” but a true social initiative that, through creativity and joint activities, changes attitudes toward inclusion in society.

Project #3: “The Atmosphere of Victory”

The project was presented in the categories:

  • Educational or cultural PR project;
  • Best collaboration.

It is aimed at creating emotional communication with the audience and strengthening the brand’s reputation through vibrant news angles and PR activations.
