First flight to Arkhangelsk
On the evening of November 30, the first Smartavia flight landed in the capital of Pomorie after a major overhaul of the airport's runway. On the flight, passengers were offered sweet treats, and the airport welcomed them with a soft landing and balloons in the arrivals hall.
Smartavia returns to Arkhangelsk with its usual convenient schedule, comfortable airliners and a wide range of additional services for passengers. As part of the winter schedule, the airline will operate regular flights from Arkhangelsk to St. Petersburg, Moscow (Sheremetyevo Airport), Kaliningrad, Sochi and Naryan-Mar, and in the pre-New Year period the frequency of flights on some routes will be increased.
—Residents of Arkhangelsk and the region again have the opportunity of affordable transportation based on the choice of travel format to which they have become accustomed in recent years. We, for our part, are ready to offer passengers comfortable, safe aircraft, a high level of service on board and an expanded range of smart services,” said Smartavia Airlines CEO Sergei Chernyshev.
