These terms and conditions come into force and are valid from “07” February 2022.
Terms and Definitions
Subscriber - the owner of the subscription - an individual authorized on the Smartavia website, aged 18 years or older, who has purchased a "Smart Up" subscription and can use the package of benefits valid within the framework of this subscription when booking air transportation and additional services of the Carrier for both himself and his fellow travelers. The Subscriber is identified through the authorization credentials in the Personal Account.
Fellow Traveler - an individual for whom the subscription is issued and who, only together with the Subscriber, can use the package of benefits valid within the framework of this subscription when booking air transportation and additional services of the Carrier.
Carrier - Joint Stock Company “Airline Smartavia”.
Smartavia Website is the official website of the Carrier, which is freely available on the Internet at the unique address https://flysmartavia.com/ and its subdomains.
Personal Account is a section of the Smartavia Website accessible after authorization, which contains information about the Subscriber and allows viewing and managing the functionality available to him on the Smartavia Website.
Flight Segment is a non-stop flight from the point of departure to the destination. In some cases, it includes a stopover, without changing the flight number. For example, a trip on the route Arkhangelsk – Moscow – Arkhangelsk – these are two flight segments.
Partners - companies cooperating with the Carrier, including airlines, agencies, advertisers and other organizations.
Code-share flight - a flight operated under a code-share agreement between two airlines, according to which one of the parties (the marketing carrier) has the right to implement transportation under its own carrier code on a flight operated by the other party (the operating carrier). Each party enters the code-share flight into automated booking systems under its own number.
Order - information about the service booked on the Smartavia Website by the passenger, payment and confirmation status.
Air ticket (electronic ticket) - an entry in the airline's database containing information about the passenger, the selected flight, the date and cost of the flight.
Abbreviations and acronyms
EMD — Electronic Miscellaneous Document — is an electronic multi-purpose document for various Carrier charges for additional services.
VAT — value added tax.
1. General Subscription Terms
1.1. The Carrier undertakes to provide the Subscriber with a subscription issued by him/her, which allows the use of a benefit package when booking air transportation and additional services of the Carrier, and the Subscriber undertakes to pay for the subscription.
1.2. The benefit package valid within the subscription may be used only when booking air transportation and additional services on regular flights operated by the Carrier.
1.3. When booking air transportation on flights of partner airlines, including code-share flights, the benefit package valid within the subscription does not apply.
1.4. The Subscriber may use the benefit package valid within the subscription both separately and together with the Traveling Companion(s) when booking the relevant air transportation/additional services in his/her name on the Smartavia Website. Travel companion(s) may use the benefit package only together with the Subscriber, which means that when booking air travel, the Subscriber and Travel companion(s) must be in the same booking. The Subscriber and Travel companion(s) may not transfer their benefit package valid within the subscription to third parties.
1.5. When booking air travel and additional services in sales offices and/or through the Carrier's call center, the benefit package valid within the subscription does not apply.
1.6. The subscription includes the following benefit package:
- Discount on air tickets in the amount of up to 200 rubles from each flight segment when searching and booking an air ticket on the Smartavia Website (the number of flight segments is limited and depends on the subscription rate). The discount is provided for all branded rates, except for promotional and subsidized ones.
- Discount on the service "Extra baggage" from 11 to 23 kg in the amount of up to 300 rubles from the current rate for the service when purchased on the Smartavia Website (the number of flight segments is limited and depends on the subscription rate). There are restrictions.
- Early access to sales on the Smartavia Website (if such are held during the subscription period).
- Exclusive access to closed promotions on the Smartavia Website (if such are held during the subscription period).
- Exclusive Smart Up tariff, valid on certain routes of the Carrier's route network.
- A special dedicated line of the Carrier's call center.
- Special offers from the Carrier's partners.
1.7. The subscription period is considered to be 1 (one) year, which begins on the date of payment for the subscription and expires on the corresponding month and day of the calendar year following the date of payment for the subscription.
1.8. The subscription is not automatically renewed. The subscription for the Subscriber ends on the day following the last day of the paid period. Accordingly, funds are not automatically debited from the Subscriber's personal account at the time of expiration of the subscription period.
1.9. By subscribing, the Subscriber:
- guarantees the accuracy, completeness and reliability of the personal information provided during authorization in the Personal Account on the Smartavia Website, when subscribing and using the subscription. The Subscriber shall be solely responsible and assume all possible risks associated with the violation of the said guarantee;
- agrees that he/she shall be solely responsible for the confidentiality of the Order information (EMD number, order number) provided to the passenger by the Carrier after purchasing the service, and assumes responsibility for the negative consequences caused by the disclosure of this information to third parties, except in cases where such disclosure occurred due to the fault of the Carrier.
- confirms that he/she has read these terms and conditions and understands them.
2. Subscription payment and cost
2.1. Subscription is paid, the cost is determined by the Carrier and published on the Smartavia Website, as well as in paragraph 2.7 of these terms and conditions.
2.2. Subscription payment is possible only in cash.
2.3. Subscription payment is made by the Subscriber by bank transfer on the Smartavia Website.
2.4. The holder of the "Unified St. Petersburg Card" can pay for the subscription with a 20% discount from any current tariff. To apply the discount, when registering a subscription, you must enter the Unified St. Petersburg Card identifier located on the back of the card in the appropriate field. The cardholder and the Subscriber must be the same person. At the time of subscription, the Unified St. Petersburg Card must be valid.
2.5. If the Subscriber cancels the transaction through their bank or in any other way, regardless of the reason, access to the subscription is suspended until the Carrier receives payment in full. Until the funds are actually received in the Carrier's account, access to the subscription is suspended.
2.6. If during the subscription period the maximum number of guaranteed discounts for the Subscriber/Fellow Traveler(s) valid within the subscription is used up, the Subscriber cannot, on their own initiative, pay for the subscription again in the current period. A new subscription can be issued from the day following the last day of the paid period.
2.7. At the time of expiration of the subscription period, funds are not automatically debited from the Subscriber's personal account.
2.8. When subscribing, the Subscriber is offered a choice of one of the current tariffs: «1+0», «1+1», «1+3»:

The subscription price includes VAT.
3. Subscription registration and procedure
3.1 To register for a subscription, you must log in to the Smartavia website: register or log in to your Personal Account.
3.2 After registering and paying for a subscription on the Smartavia website, the Carrier sends the Subscriber a confirmation letter and a payment receipt to the email address specified in the Personal Account.
3.3 To purchase air transportation/additional services at a discount within the benefit package valid for the subscription, the Subscriber must log in to the Smartavia website. After which the subscription is activated and all personal offers of the Subscriber are designated with a special icon . Payment for air transportation/additional services is made only in cash, SmartVoucher cannot be applied.
3.4 Air transportation and additional services included in the subscription are provided in accordance with the rules for the provision of tariffs and services of the Carrier. Before purchasing air tickets and additional services, the Subscriber must familiarize themselves with the rules for their provision.
3.5 The Subscriber receives information about early access to sales and other closed promotions of the Carrier in the format of e-mail newsletters to the e-mail address specified in the Personal Account.
3.6 The fact of providing a «Smart Up» subscription is the receipt by the Subscriber of the opportunity to use a whole package of advantages when purchasing air transportation and additional services of the Carrier on the Smartavia Website.
4. Reissue and refund
4.1 Subscriptions cannot be reissued.
4.2 Subscription fees cannot be refunded.
4.3 In the event of a voluntary change in the terms of air transportation (date, time of departure or route) at the initiative of the passenger, the applied guaranteed discount will not be transferred to the new terms of transportation.
4.4 In the event of a forced change in the terms of the air transportation agreement, the applied guaranteed discount will be automatically transferred to the new terms of transportation.
4.5 In the event of a voluntary refusal by the passenger of air transportation/additional services valid within the subscription, the service is considered rendered.
4.6 If the Subscriber has not used the benefit package when issuing air transportation/additional services of the Carrier during the validity period, the subscription is considered rendered and its cost is not refundable.
5. Changes to the subscription rules
5.1. The carrier has the right to unilaterally make changes to these terms and conditions of the subscription.
5.2. The carrier has the right to unilaterally change the amount of any of the established tariffs for registration of the subscription. The newly established tariff does not increase the cost of the subscription period already paid by the Subscriber, but applies to all subsequent periods.
5.3. All changes related to the subscription are made by publishing the relevant adjustments to these terms and conditions of the subscription and updating the functionality of the Smartavia Website. Any changes come into force on the date of their publication (update), unless otherwise expressly provided. In this case, the Subscriber is obliged to independently monitor any changes to the conditions, up-to-date information on the subscription status.
5.4. Changes to the subscription terms shall not be grounds for cancellation of the subscription, revision of the subscription price, revision of the duration of the subscription period, or refund of funds to the Subscriber.
6. Other provisions
6.1 Invalidity of one or more provisions of these terms and conditions, regardless of the reason for such invalidity, does not mean that other provisions of these terms and conditions are not legally binding.
6.2 The carrier has the right to deny the passenger access to the subscription, cancel the subscription, including in the event of abuse of rights or the passenger purchasing a subscription with the agent functionality. If access is denied or the subscription is canceled, the passenger loses the right to participate in the subscription.
